Tuesday Road Rides: (Beginner - Advanced)
Time: 6:00 pm
Distance: 10 - 25 miles
Pace: Beginner to Advanced Ride. (15mph – 18.5 mph)
Target Riders: People looking to get into road rides with a group. Learn pack riding skills and build endurance while getting a good workout. This ride will begin at the shop and travel around the Oakwood or Flowery Branch area. Ride usually splits up into different groups depending on speed, endurance and skill. Oakwood loop is approximately a 4.5 miles while the Flowery Branch loop is around 12.5 miles. Note, Flowery Branch loop does include some hills. Do as many as you want and ride at your own pace. Afterwards, we'll usually meet at a local restaurant for a light dinner and socializing.
Thursday Evening Road Rides: (Advanced)
Time: 6:00 pm
Distance: 25 - 45
Pace: Moderate Ride 16 - 17 mph.
Note: This ride leaves at 6:00 pm sharp. Ride usually last 1.5 to 2.0 hrs.
Target riders: This is a moderate to high pace group ride. You need to be experienced in road riding while riding in a tight group and a pace line at most times. This ride is for experienced riders looking to gain some extra conditioning while at the same time having a good time and getting a good hard workout. This ride is through the countryside around Banks and Hall County. Good rolling terrain with some good climbs. We meet at City Hall in Lula. Take Hwy 365 north past the traffic light at Hwy 52. Then take the first right (Athens Street). Go to the four-way stop. Turn left and City Hall will be 1/4 mile on the left.
Thursday Mountain Bike Rides: (Beginner - Intermediate)
Time: 6:00 pm
Distance: 8 - 12 miles
Pace: Easy to Moderate Ride. (7mph – 10 mph)
Target Riders: People looking to build up technical skill and endurance while having a good time mountain biking. This is for people looking to get into mountain biking and enjoy a easy pace group ride! The ride will start out at the shop and travel to Gainesville College trails then to Chicopee trails for the ride and then back. Afterwards, we'll usually meet at a local restaurant for a light dinner and socializing.
